Dear Raffi,
It is with great pleasure and deep gratitude that I send this email to acknowledge the tremendous success of Career Day 2009, an event organized annually by the AGBU MDS Alumni Association. The feedback from students, teachers and participating alumni was overwhelmingly positive and encouraging. Preparing high school students for career paths is the responsibility of the School and we thank you sincerely for providing precisely that opportunity to our future professionals.
Seeing nine school alumni out of 15 panelists on the stage, the moderator, a member of the Class of ’92 and currently an English teacher at the School, and several other alumni in the audience supporting the event was a delight for all of us. The School takes pride in the achievements and accomplishments of our alumni as professionals in their chosen careers, as proactive community leaders, and in recent years as the new generation of AGBU MDS proud parents. You are truly the role models all AGBU MDS students can look up to.
In his closing remarks, AGBU MDS Alumni Association past President Dr. Gaby Aslanian aptly summarized the message of Career Day 2009, exhorting the students that with hard work, perseverance and passion they can reach their goals and fulfill their aspirations.
On behalf of the faculty, please accept our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful opportunity you provided to our DHS Scholars today.
